I met the broadcaster Alberto Mondi.

[Human Aid] On August 26, we met with Alberto Mondi, a broadcaster, at the social enterprise 'Delement' in Seongsu-dong.

◆ I heard that it is Italian. Tell us one of your greatest admirers and explain briefly why.
-Let me tell you just one of them, Roberto Benini, who Korean people are familiar with. He is the creator of the movie 'Life is Beautiful', but he is also a comedian, actor, and filmmaker. This guy is amazing enough to win an Academy Award in the United States.

I like this guy because I have the talent to combine beauty with gags. The most important classic in Italy is Dante Alighieri's new song. Roberto Benini made a gag performance by reading aloud almost all the new songs on the gag festival. This enthusiasm makes Italians enthusiastic about him and attracts 100,000 people to every show. The same is true of his masterpiece, Life is Beautiful. I'm a respectable person who makes really meaningful work.

◆ Please tell us about your future plans.
-I found out by chance that I have been working at the company for almost two years. It's been five years already. Apparently there's a demand for people like me on the air. I think I can talk about Europe in Korea on TV, and on the contrary, I can make content that serves as a bridge for Europe for Korean people.

I want to focus more on my strengths in the future. I think it was fortunate that the offer came up in meaningful broadcasts from 'abnormal talks' to 'where is my friend's house'.

◆ I heard you like football. Please tell one of your favorite football players and explain briefly why. For example, with the exception of players like Ronaldo, I'm curious about who I like to be a native Italian Serie League player or an Italian Youth League player.
-My favorite player as a child was Fabio Cannavaro. I have been playing soccer since I entered middle school, but since I was a defender, I was very fond of defender Fabio Cannavaro. He was the winner of the 2006 World Cup in Germany and a great player who won the Ballon d'Or's European Footballer of the Year award, led by a football magazine.

◆ Please briefly describe what you felt while living in Korea.
-The biggest difference I felt while living abroad for 12 years was the difference in culture and mindset. I don't think everything is wrong or the answer is correct. I thought a lot about everything.

In my 12 years, Korea has changed a lot. I see something that happened about 30 years ago in Europe now happening in Korea, and I've grown a lot in the face of the problems I've been trying to solve. The efforts to create a better society, such as foreign issues, feminism issues, foreign workers' human rights issues, and work welfare issues, were very rewarding. Also, problems and perspectives are changing and improving, and I feel really good when I see people working and I'm getting good energy.

Alberto Mondi has been able to understand the mindset and thinking of Koreans for 12 years in Korea. He is an entrepreneur who works hard for good fairs and social enterprises. I hope Alberto Mondi's life in Korea will cruise.
