[Human Aid Post] LazyWalkers launched a new shared office, Teamspace.

Shared office, co-working space is one of the hottest keywords in recent years.

The sharing economy, which started from sharing unnecessary resources and reducing unnecessary waste, is expanding into various fields, including automobiles, offices, ride services, food trucks and kitchens, in tandem with social issues of economic recession.

Shared office is a system that divides an entire building or a certain part into small spaces, and rents it back to its tenants, and it is increasing mainly in major offices such as Gangnam, Hongdae and Seongsu.

Office spaces are used privately and shared facilities such as conference rooms and cafés can be used for sharing ideas among founders. As shared office companies expand their businesses, building vacancy rates can be lowered.

Unfortunately, the share office is aimed at renting profits, which is why it is more expensive than expected. It is also difficult for founders to be busy with their work and actively interact with each other, and even because they work in different industries, it is often difficult to find a common denominator and only formally meet.

The newly launched office sharing platform service, Teamspace, has attempted to overcome these shortcomings. By sharing the vacancy in offices already in use with those who need it, the host can pay less, and the guest can work in the desired space at a lower cost.

After leaving large domestic company, CEO Kim Sun-jung, who founded Teamspace, said, “Many startups and freelancers work in cafes at an early stage. The shared office is hesitant with a deposit and a higher rent than I thought. ”

In fact, Kim also said that he used his acquaintance's office to materialize his ideas while preparing to start a business.

Mr. Kim said, “Similar businesses, working together in the area I want, can help us to reduce costs and collaborate, which is a great help for early start-ups. So I was planning a teamspace to share my existing office. ”

Teamspace, which aims to be an "office Airbnb," aims at a so-called "networking office," which enables more practical collaboration than just connecting offices. Kim said, “The expensive coffee machine and the colorful lounge are good, but the small business owners are more in need of people in similar industries who can help each other with the actual amount of money used.”

Lazywalkers said he expects Teamspace, which aims to “connect the space we want to work with,” to create a new model of office services.

Lazywalker Overview

Lazywalkers is an office-sharing startup running the Teamspace platform. It started from the concept of breaking away from the specialized rental market and sharing the empty space of the existing office. In particular, the focus was on early start-ups and small and medium-sized companies to get offices and opportunities for collaboration. Teamspace is creating a shared office trend that combines the Airbnb model with the goal of connecting to a space where we want to work together.
