Ko Sua, the world's first character designer

[Human Aid Post] Children born in 2010 debuted as product designers. The character works created by Koh Su-ah (hereinafter Sua), a third year student at Daehyeon Elementary School in Seoul, were adopted for the multi-cushion product design of the venture company 'Aria Korea' headquartered in Daejeon. This character's name is Shu. Sua is beautifully named 'Shu' to make it easy to name after her.

Shu was first created in January 2016 when he and his family went to a resort in Gangwon-do. Sua was 7 years old at the time. Sua's mother, Kang Hyun-hee, did not hand over the picture. I knew that art and talent were excellent, but painting was not unusual on this day. The picture was well preserved. In February 2019, we completed copyright registration for this character, and in October of the same year, we signed a contract to use it with Aria Korea.

According to Kang, Sua enjoyed drawing a variety of paintings from a very young age, and was very dexterous with his love of origami and clay. I often heard that "the talent is outstanding" in the nursery. At first, I thought it was a child with talent, but as time went by, my child's skills caught the eye of many people.

The mother, who thought that the creative sense was not unusual, created conditions for Sua to show off her skills. In order to preserve and develop Sua's pure creativity, he did not send it to the Academy of Fine Arts.

On January 9 afternoon, she met Sua and her mother, Kang, at a cafe in Yeouido, Seoul. 'What do you want to do?' Sua said, "I want to be a costume designer." "I love science, but I want to make it work so that people can use it very comfortably and make it look good. I want to make clothes."

I asked where the character 'Shou' would like to stick in addition to cosmetics. "I'd like a character put on the car." The character's design is placed on the car door, and the pretty design moves every time the car door is opened. I was surprised by the idea. It is a very interesting idea.

Kang said the cosmetics company plans to engrave Sua's character `` Shu '' on a travel cosmetic bag. Products marked with `` Shu '' will be introduced into the South, not only in Korea, but also in new northern markets such as China and Russia, and Vietnam. As it is a character made by a young child, he said that it would be used for products with clean images such as natural cosmetic products.
