I'm happy to call you Trot.

[Human Aid] We met trot singer Jang Min-ho at the studio in Oksu-dong, Seoul on September 5th. Jang Min-ho started playing music as an idol singer, but now he was having a happy and satisfying time as a trot singer.

The following is a question and answer with Jang Min-ho.

-You debuted as an idol singer and turned into a trot singer. Why?

◆ Rather than a reason, the concept of idol did not match with me. I wanted to do my music and sing along with the members, but at that time, the idol singer's stage was mainly lip sync. So I think the biggest thing was that I didn't have many opportunities to sing a real song. I also loved trot since childhood. When I became a singer at a young age, I didn't have the courage to do a trot. I didn't hear that very well at that time, but after I was in the army, I became involved with my company and started trot. I originally loved trot and I thought I could do it with my music.
I am so happy and happy.

-Do you have a genre of music that you would like to challenge besides Trot?

◆ I don't really distinguish genres, but I want to make music that connects and breathes with my fans. So rather than putting a stimulating element in any lyrics or evil, I want that kind of music that can naturally resonate with… I think that's trot. Trot is the trend now, and I want to get closer to trot even if I don't know it well.
I am happy now that I can sing trot to my heart's content.

Who is your most respected trot singer?

◆ Lots. Too many people admire… I also like Namjin very much, and I also like Kim Yeon-ja, who recently appeared in Happy Together.

Jang Min-ho recently appeared in 'Happy Together' and called himself 'BTS of Trot'. Since then, so many people have recognized themselves and encouraged them to be as popular as the Trot BTS. So Jang Min-ho is more energetic and travels all over the country.
